If too many items automatically run at startup, your PC will take a long time to boot up. You’ll waste time waiting for the PC to boot up – and since no one likes to waste time, I present a tool that will help your PC boot faster: Glarysoft Quick Startup. All the items that automatically run at startup (programs, scheduled tasks, plug-ins, application services, Windows services) are conveniently presented on the application’s interface. You can see what items run at startup, access an item’s properties, delay it, or disable it.

A handy setup wizard helped me install Glarysoft Quick Startup on my Windows-powered machine. When it was done, it asked to install Glary Utilities and I allowed it to do so. That’s how I ended up with two applications on my PC. Glarysoft Quick Startup, a tool that allows you to manage your startup items, and Glary Utilities, a tool that helps you clean your PC and maximize its performance.

The panel at the top of Glarysoft Quick Startup’s interface tells you how many items run on Windows startup or when the user logs in. Said items are grouped into several categories (startup programs, scheduled tasks, plug-ins, application services, Windows services) and tabs for each category are presented on the interface, underneath the aforementioned panel.

Launch Glarysoft Quick Startup and it will analyze your PC and detect all the items that run at startup. In my case, that’s 110 items. All detected items are grouped into categories: startup programs, scheduled tasks, plug-ins, application services, Windows services. Select an item and the Details pane on the left will display more info about that startup item. Each startup item can be disabled, delayed, or deleted.

Conveniently view and efficiently manage all startup items with Glarysoft Quick Startup.

Pros

Installing Glarysoft Quick Startup is a simple task. The panel at the top tells you how many items launch at startup. All the items that launch at startup are grouped into several categories: startup programs, scheduled tasks, plug-ins, application services, Windows services. Each startup item can be disabled, delayed, or deleted. You will be asked to install Glary Utilities; normally, I would brand this as a con, but Glary Utilities is quite useful.

Cons

Glary Utilities has a Startup Manager feature that, because it looks and works the same as Glarysoft Quick Startup, renders it useless.
